The Rotary Club of Dover is extremely active in the Community. As well as being members of our Club, most Rotarians also hold positions of responsibility in other organisations - the local authority, Dover Town Team, the Dover Society, the Dover Community Association, and countless sports, music and social clubs and societies.
Our members are proud of the town in which they live, and give freely of their time to help to build a happy and cohesive community.
- Biggin Hall
The Rotary Club of Dover took the lead and contributed hundreds of man (and woman) hours to the repair and revitalisation of the ancient Biggin Hall in Dover. In a major success story, it is now run by Future Foundry as a Creative Start-up Space, supporting young entrepreneurs and testing their ideas for new businesses.Read More
- Disaster Relief - Kerala, Lombok & Sulawesi
Recently there have been three destructive natural disasters. Extreme flooding in Kerala, an earthquake in Lombok and an earthquake and tsunami in Sulawesi. Thousands of people have died, and it will take time for communities to recover from these devastating events.Read More
- Dover Regatta
We shall be at the Dover Regatta on Sunday 4 August 2019, hoping to meet you there. This annual event has become one of the highlights of the town's social calendar.Read More
- Dover SMART Project
Dover SMART Project is a local charity supporting vulnerable and disadvantaged people through community art projects. Established in 2013, they firmly believe that everyone has the potential, talent and the right to participate in all aspects of our community. They use art in all its forms to nurture and develop confidence, create a sense of belonging and thereby allowing creativity to flourish. We have been supporting them since 2017.Read More

The Rotary Club of Dover is currently working to support Team Malawi, a family-run charity working in the north and south of Malawi whose twin aims are education and the relief of poverty.
Team Malawi is committed to working in partnership with Malawians to transform the prospects of the next generation by providing teaching resources to Pre-schools and Primaries, bursaries at Secondary Schools and skills training for adults.Read More
